Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO officially unveiled
After months of speculation it was officially announced today that a new Star Wars massively multiplayer online game was coming. The new games titled Star Wars: The Old Republic is based in the Knights of the Old Republic timeline when the war between the Old Republic and the Sith Empire divides the galaxy.
It seems to be MMO season is the video game industry many MMOs being released in recent months, Conan online and Warhammer online being the two most popular so far. An update to the ultra popular Warcraft is expected soon and many other MMO titles are on the way such as Star trek online (which I am looking forward to). I’m looking forward to the new gameplay and story telling elements Star Wars: The Old Republic will add to the now saturated genre and will be blogging about the game’s progress.
