Microsoft and Sony has had an epic war of words from the moment both of them became competitors when the original Xbox was launched. The latest war involved Sony taking a jab at Microsoft who repeatedly declare themselves as the “global leader” in video games. Sony is quick to point out that they are console kings in Japan where the Xbox is non-existent and also in the lead in Europe. So Microsoft’s only bragging rights comes only in North America but the Playstation 3 has recently started to outsell the Xbox 360 there as well.

Exclusive games, largest game library, console game attach rate, HD-DVD (RIP) and Blu-ray, third party support etc are some of the battlefields execs and fanboys of the two systems like to wage war on. For me the PS3 looks most attractive for me to own right now and thats because I I play the Xbox 360 mainly with friends so I can my fix at the Area 51 arcade.
