Cryptic Studios Bought by Atari Parent

News became official today that Cryptic Studios has been acquired bt Atari’s parent company Infogrames for just under 30 million dollars
Why is this important to me?
One of my most anticipated video game titles and the MMO I am most excited about Star Trek Online is being developed by Cryptic and is expected to be finished by 2010. While the word is that there will be no major direction changes and the current staff will be allowed finish projects in the pipeline the other 2 being Champions Online and an unannounced title.
