Anime Movies on Your DS anyone?
Starting next week Nintendo DS owners in Japan will be watch full length animated features on their handhelds. The service is made posible by AM3 and DaiNippon Printing and will be initially offering downloads of thePokemon Anime Movie. Pokemon is super popular in Japan and the world so I guess they are trying to ensure a big start to the service.
DS owners will eventually be able to download thousands of anime titles on their PC and transfer them to microSD memory cards, which are then inserted into special carts to be used in the DS.
No news of if this will ever make it to us in the west to to me this is senseless and I’d rather by a proper media device or a PSP and get a better viewing experience.
